Adding Equations to an Existing Model

How can I add equations to an existing model?

If the new equations involve new nests such as CES nests, you can copy the equations and associated code from a similar nest in an existing model. Then you can adapt it to suit your model.

If the new equation is connected with the accounting relations in the model, (for example, if the new equation is to add some new taxes to a model), there is a document

CoPS/IMPACT Computing Document Number C12-01
"Adding Accounting-Related Behaviour to a Model Implemented Using GEMPACK"
by Jill Harrison and Ken Pearson,
which contains detailed advice about this. You can download the document and associated example files.
