Examining Results using ViewSOL or ViewHAR

Experienced GEMPACK users may prefer to use the ViewSOL program to examine results. This option is available from the View menu only after simulation is complete. The ViewSOL interface is similar to, but more complicated than, the Results Page in RunGTAP.

One advantage of ViewSOL is that it allows you to compare results from several simulations side by side. You can do this by opening each solution using View.. Results using ViewSOL as soon as RunGTAP completes each simulation. Results from previous experiments may be found in the SAVESIMS folder.

You can also view the solution file using ViewHAR. Its only advantage is that, unlike in ViewSOL, you can see values for variables with 4 or more dimensions. See ViewHAR online help topics Whats New or Opening SL4 solution files for more details.
