Lists of variables

in shock, closure and other statements may follow 3 patterns:

Components can be indicated by number, for example

x3 2-12 15-20

The variable name can be followed by sets and/or element names as arguments, for example

p_XF(labour, SECT)

Variable name on its own means all elements of that variable
