Showing Linear and Levels Results This describes what you see if you click on the popup menu item Evaluate Linear and Levels Results (toggle first/last) which appears if you have clicked on the declaration of a Linearised variable whose levels results are known (via an "ORIG_LEV=" qualifier) or on the declaration of a Levels Variable. •The linearised variable results (change or percentage change) are shown via the toggle Linear. These are the simulation results for the linear variable as declared in the TAB file. •The pre-simulation levels values are shown via the toggle OrigLev. [If the variable in question was declared as a levels variable in the TAB file, the value shown here is the original value of the levels value Coefficient. It the variable in question was declared as a linear variable in the TAB file, then the value shown here is the original value of the Coefficient indicated in the ORIG_LEVEL qualifier. See the GEMPACK manual for more details.] •The post-simulation levels values (of the Coefficient whose pre-simulation value is shown at toggle "OrigLev") are shown via toggle PostLev. At the last toggle is shown the opposite what is shown at toggle "Linear" in the following sense: 1.If the linear variable is a percent change variable (in which case the percent change is shown at toggle "Linear"), the change in the corresponding levels value is shown via toggle Changes. 2.If the linear variable is a change variable [that is, if the variable was declared using qualifier (Change) in the TAB file so that the change is shown via toggle "Linear"], the percentage change in the corresponding levels value is shown via toggle PercentChng. [This is new for Version 2.80 (November 2004) of AnalyseGE. Previously the changes were shown in this case via toggle "Changes".] If it is not possible to calculate the percent change (because the pre-simulation level is zero and the post-simulation level is not zero, AnalyseGE shows the value 10000000000.0. The toggle set used for a percent change linear variable is Xset LevSet (Linear, OrigLev, PostLev, Changes) ; while the toggle set used for a change variable is Xset LevSetChVar (Linear, OrigLev, PostLev, PercentChng) ; The main difference between putting the toggle first or last is the effect this has on the way ViewHAR displays the results.
