Where to find the GEMPACK licence

If your model is larger than medium sized, a GEMPACK licence may be required to solve the model. In this case, the program which solves your model will need to find your GEMPACK licence.

By default, the program uses the normal GEMPACK method for finding the licence. [This is to look in the directory pointed to by the Environment variable GPDIR if that is set, or else to look in directory C:\GP.]

If your GEMPACK licence can be found in the default way, you do not need to do anything (and you should leave menu item Usual method for finding GEMPACK licence checked).

If, however, your GEMPACK licence is in a different directory, you can tell RunDynam where to find it be selecting menu item Specify directory containing GEMPACK licence under the Options menu. You will be asked to indicate the relevant directory via a directory dialog box.

If you click on the item Check GEMPACK licence, you will see a report about your GEMPACK licence. [If you think the information supplied is not correct, check that the software is accessing the correct licence; you may need to change the options about where the software looks for your licence.]
