The Log file

Log files are produced for each simulation for each year of a base case/rerun/policy run.

If there is an error, RunDynam attempts to find the latest log file and show it in the editor. Or sometimes just the last few lines on the screen before the error if no log file seems to be available.

You can view the log file showing the most recent error (if there has ever been one) by selecting item Last Error log under the View menu.

The log file records the process of solving the model. If there is an error during the solution process, the log file is displayed automatically. Even if there is no error you can select Log file in the lower part of the Results page and use the View button to see the whole log file. Search for %% to find warnings.

If you choose a solution method which uses extrapolation an accuracy report will appear at the end of the log file.
