Errors in Solution Process There are 3 main reasons why the model may fail to solve: •The experiment may not be well formulated. For example, it is possible to specify a shock to ALL elements of a variable with some endogenous elements. In this case, a window will appear containing an error report, generated by GEMPACK. Towards the end of this report, there should be a message indicating the cause of the error.
