Copying Results

The Copy menu command causes the current window (either Contents or Numbers) to be copied to the Windows Clipboard. From there it can be pasted to various programs. For example, you can paste directly into an Excel spreadsheet. You can also paste into Word. In the latter case, a series of items separated by tabs appears in your document; select them all and use Words Convert Text to Table command.

When copying real matrices to a spreadsheet, remember that the data copied is only as accurate as that displayed on screen. You may want to increase the number of decimal places before copying.
