Files needed for a new aggregation

To create a new version based on a fresh aggregation you must specify three files, all in HAR (Header Array) format:

•A flows data file.

•A sets file

•A parameters file

Normally these three files would be supplied to you by GTAP or you would have created them yourself using programs and data from GTAP.

Alternatively you may specify a ZIP archive which contains all three files named according to the standard RunGTAP file naming system (see below). The program GTAPAgg creates a ZIP archive of this type.

RunGTAP will copy the files you choose to a directory named after your new version. The copies will be renamed, if necessary, to follow the standard RunGTAP file naming system:

•The flows data file will be named BASEDATA.HAR.

•The sets file will be named SETS.HAR.

•The parameters file will be named DEFAULT.PRM.

The New Version Wizard does some basic checking to see if the files you chose are of the right type. Other problems might come to light during the test simulation that takes place after you leave the New Version Wizard.
