The Parameters File

Contains the various elasticities and other parameters used by GTAP. When you start RunGTAP, or change to a new version, a default parameters file will be used, probably called DEFAULT.PRM. The Change Parameter File button on the Solve page allows you to load another parameters file instead (if there is another).

The View..Parameters menu item allows you to examine and edit the current parameters file. If you change it you can save it with a new name. Be careful to adhere to the original format, and to alter the first line of the file history to a 1-line summary of your changes.

Parameters files must have the suffix (extension) PRM.
