Display Shares

You can ask for the data to be displayed as column shares, row shares, or as matrix shares (shares of the matrix grand total), using a combo box at the left of the tool bar.

If row shares are requested, the row totals will be 1.0, and the column totals will show average row shares. Similarly, if column shares are requested, the column totals will be 1.0, and the row totals will show average column shares. Last, if matrix shares are requested, the matrix total will be 1.0, the column totals will show average row shares, and the row totals will show average column shares.

Shares with a zero denominator are displayed with a default value. For example, if a row contained 10 numbers which were all zero, row shares of 0.1 would be shown.

Shares are always displayed with at least 3 decimal places, regardless of the current setting of the decimal places combo box.
