Square matrices

If you are in advanced (editing) mode you can right-click on a real matrix in the Contents View to see the Square Matrices options. These are only available if you clicked on a square matrix, ie, a 2-dimensional matrix with an equal number of rows and columns (which is >1).

Most of the options create a new header containing new square matrix which is a transform of the original, selected, matrix.

For example:

The Sam Balancing option creates a new header containing original values scaled so that row and column totals are equal.

The Cholesky Decomposition creates a new header containing a lower-left-triangular decomposition of the original matrix.
