Mouse Actions on Variable Names

When a variable name appears as a row or column label in the Data window, you can:

•click on it once: its description will appear in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

If the option Always list all variables alphabetically is not selected you can also

•double-click on it: the variable will be marked as hidden and disappear.

•drag it to a different row or column, so re-ordering the variables.

For advanced users, there is also a way to re-order or hide variables using a text editor.
