RunDynam

RunDynam is a Windows program for running simulations with recursive-dynamic models. Such models generate forecasts as a series of SL4 files each showing year-on-year changes for one period. Policy analysis in this context consists in comparing two different forecasts (with and without a policy shock). The Time Series Mode in ViewSOL is designed for this sort of model.

Some versions of RunDynam have been named after a model : eg RunGTEM after the GTEM (formerly MEGABARE) model of world trade and environment maintained by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics. These versions are essentially the same as RunDynam.
