Setting the GPTEMP or GPKEEP Environment Variable You can set these environment variables to control where INI files are stored or where temporary files are created. It's best to set them to short directory names which do not contain spaces or non-English characters. For example, you could set: GPTEMP to C:\temp GPKEEP to C:\mystuff To see what Environment variables are set, open a Command prompt, and type "SET" or "SET | more". In Windows 7 and later you can set environment variables by selecting from Windows: Start | Control Panel | System | Advanced | Environment Variables To set Environment variables in Windows XP, select My Computer, then right-mouse-click and select Properties | Advanced | Environment Variables More instructions for setting Environment variables may be found at: http://www.copsmodels.com/gpsetenv.htm URL of this topic: www.copsmodels.com/webhelp/viewsol/hc_setenv.htm Link to full GEMPACK Manual Link to GEMPACK homepage |
