GEMPACK licence

There are some RunGTAP activities for which you need a GEMPACK licence.These are:

(a) Solving very large models.

(b) Doing sensitivity analysis.

RunGTAP uses the file TLICA.EXE and TLICA.PIF to check licences -- these files must be located in the same subdirectory as RUNGTAP.EXE.

The GEMPACK licence is a file called LICEN.GEM which must be located in the directory C:\GP (or in the subdirectory pointed to by the DOS environment variable GPDIR).

You can view your licence status by selecting the Help..GEMPACK licence menu item.
