Running LTG

Use the Options..Code and other menu item to control whether TABmate runs LTG automatically for you, after FORTRAN files have been made by one of the TABLO Code or TABLO STI commands.

The LTG procedure is only useful after TABLO has written FORTRAN files -- see Will TABLO generate FORTRAN or GEMSIM code?

The convenience of using TABmate to run LTG is that you can continue work while the sometimes lengthy LTG job happens in the background. A bell or beep sounds when it is done, and a message appears in the status bar at bottom.

The LTG job is separate from the TABLO job and a little less intrusive. For example, while TABLO is running, you cannot use TABmate for anything else. But you can do other things while LTG is running. However, you cannot run TABLO again till LTG is finished.

Obviously, if you modify the TAB file while LTG is running, the EXE that is made will not incorporate your last minute changes!
