Will TABLO generate FORTRAN or GEMSIM code?

TABLO will write code to implement your model in one of two ways. If you have the more expensive source-code GEMPACK licence you can generate either FORTRAN or GEMSIM output. The cheaper, EXE-image, GEMPACK licences only allow you to generate GEMSIM output: this runs more slowly and may not work for huge models.

From within TABmate, there are 2 ways you can have TABLO produce model code:

If you use TABLO CODE, the setting in the Options..Code and other dialog controls whether FORTRAN or GEMSIM files are produced. Your choice is indicated at the right of the upper toolbar (you can also click there to change the option).

If you use TABLO STI, the STI file may specify whether FORTRAN or GEMSIM code is generated. Otherwise, your GEMPACK system will be set to produce one type by default.

If you use TABLO Check no code is produced, either for FORTRAN or GEMSIM.

You can choose whether TABmate will automatically compile and link any FORTRAN code that is produced -- see LTG.
