TABLO.EXE not found

Some commands require that TABmate is able to locate the GEMPACK program TABLO.EXE (for which you need a full GEMPACK licence). If you try to run such a command and you do not have TABLO.EXE, you get a warning message.

The message does not necessarily indicate a problem. TABmate is a free program which needs no GEMPACK licence and can be used to edit or view files without using TABLO. However, if you do not have TABLO.EXE, some commands are unavailable.

If you do have TABLO, the message indicate that TABmate does not know where to find TABLO.EXE. Use the Options dialog to locate the file.

TABmate looks for TABLO.EXE, either on the system PATH or in the C:\GP directory,or in the directory specified by the environment variable GPDIR. TABLO requires a GEMPACK license.

TABmate requires you to have Release 7 or higher of GEMPACK.
