Reload Button

The Reload button merely re-opens the currently visible file. This could be useful if, for instance, you repeatedly ran a program, each time producing a log file with the same name, which you then viewed in TABmate. The Reload button could be used to quickly ensure that you were looking at the most recent log file.

If you make many changes to your TAB file -- which you then regret -- you may find that the Reload button does NOT reverse all your foolish changes. The reason would be that you pressed the TABLO Check button whilst editing: whenever TABLO is run from within TABmate, the current TAB file is saved to disk. However, DO NOT PANIC : when TABmate saves a file, the previous version is preserved, with a name like MATEnnn.BAK, where nnn is a number. The Options..Backups menu command produces a list of these backup files created during the current session.
