The download below enables users of Unlimited Executable-Image GEMPACK who are running 64-bit Windows to solve huge models that require more than 4GB of RAM.
The 32-bit programs supplied with the standard Unlimited Executable-Image Version of GEMPACK will run under either 32-bit Windows or under 64-bit Windows. Under 32-bit Windows, each program can use up to 2 GB of RAM, or several programs can together access up to 3.5GB. Under 64-bit Windows, each 32-bit program can use up to 4 GB of RAM, or several programs can access all installed RAM (more details).
For very large models, GEMSIM may require more than 4GB of RAM. For this unusual case we have made available 64-bit versions of TABLO.EXE and GEMSIM.EXE. Please note that to make use of these you must:
If these conditions apply, you can simply replace your existing 32-bit versions of TABLO.EXE and GEMSIM.EXE with 64-bit versions. The 64-bit versions of TABLO.EXE and GEMSIM.EXE are contained in a ZIP downloadable from below. However, the ZIP file is password-protected. To find out the password, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, stating your licence serial no. We will send you the password if you are entitled to download.

The 64-bit version of GEMSIM.EXE does not run faster than the 32-bit version -- its only advantage is that it will solve models that require more than 4GB of memory. Such a large model will not solve quickly! You might consider using the source-code version of GEMPACK, which solves large models faster.
