Errors in Solution Process

There are 4 main reasons why the model may fail to solve:

•The experiment may not be well formulated. For example, it is possible to specify a shock to ALL elements of a variable with some endogenous elements. In this case, a window will appear containing an error report, generated by GEMPACK. Towards the end of this report, there should be a message indicating the cause of the error.

•RunGTAP not properly installed or the original files corrupted. See Missing Files.

•Your machine may have insufficient free memory or free disk space (see Hardware and Software Requirements).

•An error in the RunGTAP program; see Miscellaneous Errors.
