Choose Mappings

The Aggregation...Choose Mappings dialog lists any mappings that ViewHAR has read in during the current sessions. It is disabled if no valid mappings have been detected.

You can click on the mappings to see their contents or click their checkboxes to activate them.

The list shows whether each mapping is onto and from which header the mapping was drawn.

The Create Aggregated File button uses activated mappings to create a new aggregated view of the original file.

The Close button saves any changes you made to checkboxes but does not generate a new aggregated view.

The Copy button copies the currently selected mapping to the clipboard either in a list format that is convenient for pasting into a spreadsheet or as a mapping specification that can be pasted into a TAB file.

Two check boxes can be used to control:

(a) whether matrices in the original file which are not affected by currently active mappings are copied unchanged to the aggregated file; and

(b) whether sets in the aggregated file retain their old names (even though they have fewer elements).
