Maximum Size of Variables

In order to save memory when many solution files are to be read in, ViewSOL will discard results for variables above a certain size. You can change this limit using the File -> Options command: a value of 0 (the default) means no size limit is imposed. The new setting takes effect the next time you open a file. Variables with more than 3 dimensions are never available, whatever their size.

If you read in many solutions at once in Time Series Mode, ViewSOL automatically filters out larger variables to keep total (all-solution) memory needs within 500 MB.
