Code and other Options

The Code and other item under the Options menu allows you to control:

(A) whether FORTRAN or GEMSIM code is produced by the TABLO Code command. You need the source code version of GEMPACK to produce FORTRAN code.

If you use TABLO STI the STI file may specify whether FORTRAN or GEMSIM code is produced. Otherwise, your GEMPACK system will be set to produce one type by default.

See also: Will TABLO generate FORTRAN or GEMSIM code?

(B) If FORTRAN files are produced, you can choose whether TABmate will automatically compile and link the FORTRAN code -- see LTG.

(C) You can also choose which copy of TABLO.EXE is used, if you have more than one version on your hard disk.

(D) You can set the font size used in the Gloss, Errors and Warnings windows, as a percentage of the font size used in the main TABmate window.

(E) When TABmate opens a file, it searches through the folder of that file for files with suffix BAK. By default, any BAK files that are more than 2 days old are deleted. You can disable this behaviour. [Note: ViewHAR behaves the same way -- you might have to disable the feature in ViewHAR also. The "delete BAK files" feature was added to both ViewHAR and TABmate in May 2014.]

(F) By default, if TABmate opens a LOG file, it jumps straight to the end (where the success or error message is). You can switch this off.

(G) For GEMPACK 12 only, Coefficients and Formulae in TABLO-generated programs can be computed in double precision.

(H) Mark loops/zerodivides in gutter: control whether coloured lines at LHS of window show which lines of TABLO code are within the scope of a Zerodivide or Loop statement. See Zerodivide and Loop .
